3.17 Maintenance Mode
You can activate and deactivate the Maintenance Mode of the Smartvest Pro here. Maintenance Mode
is used to test the registered components (except water detectors and smoke detectors). As long as the
system is in Maintenance Mode no alarm is triggered when a detector or tamper contact is triggered,
but an entry is displayed here in the menu. This means that the functionality of each detector can be
checked individually, and the detection range of the motion detector in particular can be adjusted
using the Maintenance Mode. Maintenance Mode can be deactivated manually; alternatively this mode
deactivates itself aer 5 minutes.
Also activate Maintenance Mode if you want to change the batteries of one or more components or
remove the keypad or alarm panel from the mounting plate, for example.
