3.15 Inevitability
Inevitability is a useful function to prevent you from arming your alarm system even though your home
is not secure. Before arming, the system therefore checks whether magnetic contacts of opening
detectors, e.g. on windows and doors, are actually closed before the alarm system permits arming.
Here you can make the settings for the inevitability function. Inevitability requires that the status of
the registered components permits arming, e.g. all magnetic contacts are closed and have a connection
to the alarm panel.
If a monitored window or door is open, the system cannot initially be armed. However, this can be
bypassed by sending the arming command is sent again (via remote control or keypad) or by closing
the open contact. You have the option of deactivating the inevitability function in the settings.
Inevitability sound: If you use a remote control or keypad for arming / internally arming and
inevitability is triggered, the alarm panel outputs a warning tone. This is not output when the app is
used, as a pop-up is displayed here.
In the case of an inevitability event with the remote control, the LED will not light up red. It is strongly
recommended that you activate the inevitability sound option here. As described above, you can force
arming by pressing the button again.
