WARNING!
The outdoor siren is extremely loud at both sound levels 70dB and 90dB. The siren sound
is deactivated by default for your protection. Once the sound is activated, move the siren
or replace the batteries only when the "Maintenance Mode" (3.17) is activated to avoid a
tamper alarm.
3.5.8 Wireless smoke/heat detectors
To register the smoke/heat detector in the Smartvest Pro alarm panel, please proceed as follows:
Preparatory steps
1. You need the Smartvest Pro iOS / Android app.
2. You must keep the smoke detector within easy reach.
3. Please ensure that the smoke detector and the Smartvest Pro alarm panel are in close
proximity to each other.
Integration into the alarm system
1. Register a component via the "Settings" menu in the app under the menu item "Manage
components" > "Add new component".
2. Select the relevant component from the list.
3. Assign a name for each component (this is used for notications, for example) and assign a
room.
4. Press the "Next" button in the app and activate the battery during the app countdown. There
are one ways to do this.
5. Remove the 2x AA batteries included in the packaging and insert them during the app
countdown.
6. The successful addition of a component is conrmed in the app and you can now manage and
use the added component in the settings.
