3.5.7 Wireless siren
To register the siren in the Smartvest Pro alarm panel, please proceed as follows:
Preparatory steps
1. You need the Smartvest Pro iOS / Android app.
2. You must keep the siren to hand.
3. Please ensure that the siren and the Smartvest Pro alarm panel are in close proximity to each
other.
Integration into the alarm system
1. Register a component via the "Settings" menu in the app under the menu item "Manage
components" > "Add new component".
2. Select the relevant component from the list.
3. Assign a name for each component (this is used for notications, for example) and assign a
room.
4. Press the "Next" button in the app and activate the battery during the app countdown. There
are dierent ways to do this.
• If the siren is new, there is a transparent plastic tape at the side. Pull it out of the
detector during the app countdown to complete the set-up process.
• If you have already removed the plastic tape, please remove the battery, wait at least
5 seconds and reinsert it.
• You can supply the siren with power during the app countdown using the enclosed
mains adapter.
5. During the app countdown, you can press the pairing button on the back of the siren.
6. The successful addition of a component is conrmed in the app and you can now manage and
use the added component in the settings.
