washers. Either use your own screws for this or the adhesive pads provided
(recommended).
• Always install the magnetic contact on the side of the window or door which is
opened and not on the hinge side.
• You can either install the magnetic contact on the top or the side of the window.
If you install the magnetic contact on the underside of the window, the
magnetic contact may not trigger if the window is tilted (not recommended).

4.3 Installation
Installation with screws (recommended)
1. Open the smaller magnetic component and the larger transmitter component of the magnetic contact
using a thin slotted screwdriver.
2. Screw the smaller magnet component and the larger transmitter component to the desired position
on the window using 2 screws on each. You must rst break through the intended holes carefully
using a screwdriver or drill.
3. Replace the respective housing covers.
