4.2 App security
You can make security settings in the App security menu item.
4.2.1 Biometric authentication
If you activate this option, you can open the app using biometric authentication (iOS: FaceID or TouchID;
Android: Fingerprint or facial recognition).
4.2.2 Stay logged in
If you activate this option, you do not have to type in the required password each time. The app saves
the data the data aer successful login and immediately opens the start screen.
IMPORTANT
This option leads to a potential security risk. People who gain access to your unlocked
device can gain access to your security system without verication.
4.2.3 Account settings
Here you can edit the following settings relating to your connected ABUS One account:
- Salutation (Mr or Mrs)
- First name
- Surname
As soon as all changes have been made, you can save them by clicking the "Save changes" button.
If you want to delete the linked account, click on the red "Delete user account" button.
4.2.4 Password settings
Here you can change the password currently in use. To do this, rst enter the current password and
then enter the new password in the two lines provided. At the end, press the "Set new password"
button to save the entries.
